How to save adverts using FreeTheTree2 extension

NEW: YouTube video

NEW CONCEPT: In FreeTheTree2 we introduced new concept of saved adverts. They are blueprints for live adverts and stored locally in user browser and managed in FTT2 tab on Gumtree. This guarantee good quality images and quick access to data.

Note: adverts are stored locally in browser so please be carful when clearing browsing data. Deleting browser site data will remove all saved adverts.

Saving advert using FTT2 is as easy as posting new advert and markdown “Save to FTT2” checkbox but lets start from beginning.

Step 1 – initiate a new advert posting

Use “Post an ad” on Gumtree “Manage my Ads” website or “Post similar”.
Note: When using “Post similar” delete source advert immediately after “Post similar” it but before next steps, otherwise you will get “Duplicate advert” error.

Step 2 – fill advert details, add new images, check “Save to FTT2”

On the advert details page upload NEW images.

Finally if all is ready, tick “Save to FTT2” checkbox and then use “Post My Ad”

Step 3 – confirmation

Advert is saved after successful submission so when you get to “Thanks!” page then it’s done. Use “Manage my saved ads” to get to FTT2 saved adverts section.
